Warrant of Fitness

Public and passenger safety is a serious concern of New Zealand government and this issue has been taken care by New Zealand transport agency (NZTA). Warrant of fitness (WoF) or Certificate of fitness (CoF) is a safety check according to the NZTA rules and regulations for the vehicle to be safe on the road.

Yellow motors doesn’t compromise on safety of their customers and general public, therefore we inspect the vehicle properly by spending enough time on it. Wheel alignment is a significant factor for any vehicle, which can affect many parts of the vehicle and can cause serious harm to its components including steering, suspension and tyres. In case your wheel alignment is not done correct then it can wear the tyres uneven, which can reduce the life of the tyres, damaging the wheel alignment is very easy by hitting the curb or footpath but it is not that easy to fix it.

Wheel alignment is very typical art that cannot be done in a proper way by every mechanic or tyre guy. As a customer you should be very careful in choosing the wheel alignment expert. We have expert staff that can-do wheel alignment correctly in an efficient way, we have been providing this service to our customers for more than half a decade.

We have been providing high quality panel and paint work to our customers for more than a decade with the assistance of our panel and paint experts in our team. Yellow motors does all smash/accident repair and bodywork for most of the insurance companies policy holders. We assess the damages, provide quotation and help you to repair your vehicle as soon as possible for your convenience by carefully handling your claims.

During the repair process, we will provide you with a courtesy vehicle to keep you moving in your daily life. If your vehicle is a taxi or rideshare service vehicle then we can provide you a certified commercial vehicle. We have a range of courtesy vehicles, courtesy vans and courtesy taxi/ride share vehicles for our customer’s needs.

Tyre Replacement & Repair

We provide tyre repair services such as help with flat tyres, fixing punctures and tyre balancing services. We can provide you a variety of well-known tyre brands for example: : Michelen, Continental, Goodyear, Dunlop, Bridgestone, Firestone, Hankook, Supercat, Kumho and many more for your choice.

You may also find with us good quality budget tyres. We do not sell/store

cheap and low quality tyres but we sell tyres at a very reasonably low prices.

Auto Electricals

We deliver auto electrical services for our customers such as:

Hybrid Car Battery Services

At Yellow Motors we check, test, diagnose, service and repair hybrid batteries and systems. We do hybrid vehicle servicing, repairs, replace hybrid vehicle engines and transmissions.

We do all type of servicing and repairs on hybrid vehicles including:

• Lubes, brake systems, suspension, radiator and cooling system.
• CV joint and wheel bearings.
• Inverters, water pump, ECU/CPU modules and all other hybrid components.
• Engine start battery (12 volts) and Air filters.

Mechanical Repairs

We help with the maintenance of your vehicle for you to be safe on the road. Our mechanics check, diagnose the problems if it was any and explain to the customer for their better understanding and entire satisfaction. We recommend the remedy for the problem and offer to resolve or repair them for you.

We check:  Steering, suspension, drive belts, exhaust, clutches, water, coolant, fuel and oil hoses, brakes, cooling and the whole exhaust system and etc.

We use quality parts and components. We help to replace brake pads, brake shoes, skimming the rotors or brake drums and we also inform/recommend further repairs that needs to be done for your safety in case we find any significant wear and tear. If you hear any unusual noise to your vehicle or see any warning light on your dash then we recommend you to stop driving, otherwise it may damage your car more and can cause serious mechanical issues to your vehicle and it can be a hazard for you to be on the road. You could bring your vehicle to us and we will do a primary visual inspection free of cost to help in your unforeseen situation.

Oil Change and Car Service

Oil, water and fluids are very basic and essential liquids for the proper operation of the vehicle components. You should do at least basic service after every six months or 10,000 Km. We recommend that every year you should do standard service to keep the vehicle in good health.

Windscreen Replacement

At Yellow Motors we know windscreen is very significant factor in safe driving, if windscreen has a crack, scratches or impaired vision in critical vision area (CVA) then you cannot view the road and traffic conditions clearly which will make your journey very uncomfortable, tiring and unsafe. Our professional windscreen expert will replace your windscreen or any other window glass as soon as possible. For this you don’t need to keep waiting for weeks and weeks after booking to replace your windscreen to get you back on the road.

Broken windscreen or any other glass in your vehicle is putting it at risk of weather or theft issues in general, we use quality glass that meets New Zealand and International standards to complete the work straight away for your and the vehicle’s safety. When you claim through insurance claim, we accept all insurance jobs and if you book the repair and replacement with us, you won’t be off the road for even single second. We provide you with FREE Courtesy Vehicles till your repairs are completed. In case your vehicle needs rust repair around the windscreen area, you will not be stuck. We will do that on extra cost for your convenience. You don’t need to knock another door for rust repairs. This will be ONLY ONE STOP SHOP FOR YOU.

Auto Parts Supply/Services

We supply auto panel and mechanical parts including new radiators for most of the make and models. Our team can supply most of the car parts for e.g. front/rear bumpers, doors, guard, head lamps, tail lamps, indicator lamps, fog lamps, window regulators, steering and suspension parts, shocks and suspension arms, bearings. We also have electrical parts like starter motors, alternators, HID bulbs, drive belts etc.

Yellow Motors will assist you to service your car parts or repair/recondition if possible, for example door lock, ignition barrel, brake cylinders, clutches, alternator, starter and brake calipers. If we do not have any of the required part in our stock then we will try our best to source it for you nationwide or internationally.
